Veteranís Day Run
Run 899 +++-> Locknut Monster, Just (Cutie) Cody, and Help Me Iím Wet
Veterans Day is a special day to honor those who have served, or are currently serving in our military. One of our hares is even a disabled vet himself. With that in mind, we're starting and ending at VFW Post 3994. VFWs are best known for old men and cheap booze, and this one is no exception. But the Post is something more than tooÖ a brotherhood for vets. The regulars go there often to drink beer, swap stories and joke around. Once in a while they cuss each other out too, but not very often. Just like hashers! J So for this Veteranís Day, why not join them and us @ the VFW! The beers are cheap, the trails are great and good grub will be provided. Get your Patriot off and wear Red, White and Blue!!
Expect: A runnerís trail, a walkerís trail, and a trail map for wheelies that can be wheeled or driven. You will need a flashlight. RepeatÖ you will need a flashlight. Your shoes should stay dry. Your dogs are welcome. Shiggy socks encouraged but not absolutely necessary. This is practically virgin hash territory too!
