We'll be starting from Turtle Park.
Things you will see on trail:
Turtles and other exotic animals that are found on the plains of East Africa.
Shiggy, shiggy socks are just a fashion statement, it's the city!
Beer, shots, dust, etc.

Whistles: yes

Dog/wheel friendly: No/sort of

Flashlights: doubtful, but never say never

Public transport: Forest Park station, but not close; Hampton bus?; no daladalas

Walker trail: not sure, but probably

The mandatory dress for this safari/hash is one of the following:

1) Something with an African animal on it (No Asian elephants, American jaguars, etc.)
2) Khaki safari wear (for bloody colonists)
3) African colors: Red, yellow AND green (The reason so many African countries have these colors in their flag is as a tribute to Ethiopia, who used the colors first and defeated a European colonial army at the Battle of Adwa in the late 19th century, thereby avoiding colonial domination.)

Change of clothes and shoes is always recommended: Going on safari is a sweaty, dusty business, and there will be no bwanas handing out cool damp towels and Pimm's at the end -- we are low budget all the way!

Start:
Turtle Park
Between Hampton & Tamm Ave on Oakland Rd.
Dogtown/Forest Park, St. Louis MO

Technically:
Oakland Ave & Tamm Ave, St Louis, St Louis City, MO 63110
