Cum ride the rails and drink bum wine in sunny Edwardsville, IL! Wear your finest hobo attire. Prizes to best dressed male and female hobos. Maybe give-aways, but it depends on how lazy we are. Non-hobo dressed hashers will be beaten with the Hobo Beating Stick. Just warnin' ya. No flashlights needed, but an extra pair of shoes and socks is always a good idea.

Is this trail near a metro link station?: No, this is the Dark Side

Is this trail stroller/wheel chair friendly?: Railroad tracks are not good for strollers.

Walker's Map?: Probably not, as there will be multiple beer stops, but one can be generated if needed. I know hobos are lazy, but you still need to run a bit to hop a freight.

Directions:

From MO (North/West/Central): Take 270 East until you hit I-255. Take I-255 North and get off on the exit for New Poag Road(exit #3). Take a right off of the exit and go into Edwardsville. New Poag will turn into St. Louis Street after the stop light. Take a Left before the curve onto Rose St. There will be a True Trail Arrow sign there. Take a Right onto Grand Ave, and a subsequent Left onto Terry. Take this back to Hoppe Park and you'll see Hashers in the parking lot on the left.

From IL (South): Take I-255 North and get off on the exit for New Poag Road(exit #3). Take a right off of the exit and go into Edwardsville. New Poag will turn into St. Louis Street after the stop light. Take a Left before the curve onto Rose St. There will be a True Trail Arrow sign there.
