Nobody has written the Hash Trash yet...WHY ARE WE WAITING!?!?!
1897 hosted the first Boston Marathon, discovered the electron, started the Klondike Gold Rush, Thomas Edison is granted a patent for the Kinetoscope, a precursor of the movie projector, The Library of Congress Building in Washington is opened, Black Hills National Forest is established, and Grants tomb was dedicated ( I always thought it was already dead).
Meet: Shaw Park (south)
Snowpocolapse Blair will bring blankets of white powder, but not before coating everything in clear, slippery, and hard liquid/solid fluid. Then comes the deep freeze to lock it all in, so hashing this week will be a frozen tundra. You know the drill, it’s two fireplaces in Shaw Park and the Winter Wonderland under the streetlights throughout the parkscape.
Expect fires, short trails, black chalk, and hot cocoa with Baileys and Jameson.
On After at: J. McGraugh's Bar & Grill 8405 Maryland Ave, St. Louis, MO 63105
(Kitchen’s open till 9:30, so we’ll get there by 9:00 due to extreme cold.)
