Around 20 years ago, a young and fabulously haired Mark F was arriving in Japan for his first of 3 years of english teaching. His older brother had already been there a year and in his first week on the ground in his new home, Mark was asked by his older brother, Muppet, to join him and some other friends at a "hash". Little did he know his life would never be the same. On that very first hash, somewhere near Kikuchi, Kyushu, Japan, Mark led the pack and made his way up a picturesque river canyon to the finish where the hare Sakuraba was waiting with a beer, a high five and brand new hash name of Pepper.
