Nobody has written the Hash Trash yet...WHY ARE WE WAITING!?!?!
Yo, hashers! 2:19, here. Iím crashing Puke Haltís trail this Wednesday, and wouldnít you know it, he put me in charge of location, finding the on-after, writing this little blurb, and sending the Hareraiser directions. Day of, heís probably going to expect me to buy beer and set trail, too! How rude! I have to do important things at work so that I can get paid and afford to hash, so you donít get any clever zingers today. Just be there, or be square.
Where to meet:
In Fremont Park! Itís not a very big park, just walk toward the hashers. We will be on the south side of the park for chalk talk.
Where to park:
Street parking is available on Lynch St. and Selena St. You can park on Wisconsin near where we are circling up, but itís in front of a retirement home on a dead-end street-it can get crowded.
Details about trail:
There will not be a separate walker trail, but we can give walker/wheel friendly directions to the beer stop. Also, since I am slow AF, trail will be suitable for runners of all skill level. This is a city trail, so it will be dog friendly (I do recommend you make sure they are up-to-date on their shots first). I canít promise it will be fun, I canít promise youíll like it, but I can promise there will be beer.
Truemanís Sports Bar, 1818 Sidney St. (approximately .3 miles away from the start).
They have trivia that night, but the crowd should be thinning by the time we get there. The kitchen is open until 11:00, but the lady on the phone recommended we get orders in close 10 so the kitchen staff has adequate time to prepare food (NO EXCESSIVE POSTAGE CIRCLE).
