HabitHash For Humanity 2
Date: Saturday, Sept 22
Build: 7:45am - 3:30pm (volunteers)
Hash circle-up: 4:00 pm (everyone)
We do a Habitat build during the day, then a turkey-friendly hash near the build site (open to all, whether you build or not).
The site will be in U City at Kingsland & Bartmer, north of Olive. For directions, use 6649 Bartmer University City, MO 63130.
I will send more details about the build to the people who signed up. We've still got 1 open spot let at the build. Contact 5 Bucks if you want in. Remember that homeless guy you killed last year? Well, this would totally make up for it...
The Hare: 5 Bucks, 5 Bucks, 5 Bucks
Bob Vila: Norman Bates
We'll circle up right around the corner from the build site at 4pm. Come drink & run, even if you couldn't make the morning. This hash will reward our day laborers with a pleasant turkey trail (less than 4 miles total), and include some better-than-average hash beer (a contact at A-B donated a case of Becks & Leffe Brune to our cause).
6640 Olive Blvd, St Louis, MO 63130. Back of the long parking lot.
It's a big generic building, across the street from B & K Tuckpointing, a little east of Olive & Kingsland.
887 Kingsland Avenue St. Louis, MO 63130ý - (314) 863-1880
From the North/Northwest:
Take Highway 70 to 170 South. Get off at Olive Blvd, make a LEFT going EAST. The lot will be about 3 miles ahead on your right, after Kingsland. Look for dirty/paint-covered hashers.
From the West:
Take Highway 64/40 East to 170 North. Get off at Olive Blvd, make a RIGHT going EAST. The lot will be about 3 miles ahead on your right, after Kingsland. Look for Norman Bates's overwhelming manliness.
Take Highway 64/40 West to Skinker/McCausland. Make a right, and take Skinker north to Olive Blvd. Make a left on Olive, going west. Look for the lot about 1/2 a mile ahead, on your left. Look for PMS (really close to the ground).
