Rumor has it that a few hashers are r*nning a race up in Grafton, so we're going to cranium over to Illinois for the day (don't worry, it's BARELY over the state line). Circle up in Henry Street Park, which is less of a park and more of a parking lot. Dewey will take you up and down through the streets of what was supposed to be the "big city on the Mississippi" until St. Louis had to go and ruin everything by inventing Grafton. Expect a historical tour of the city and see places like "where that last Lincoln debate happened" and "where that tall dude is buried." Did you know that Miles Davis was born in Alton? It's also where Elijah P. Lovejoy was murdered for being a mouthy abolitionist and got a library at SIUE named after him, that Dewey knows all too well. Maybe we'll see the Torture Devices Museum, who knows!?! Sure, it's no Burning Hare, but we'll have a good time, promise
